Starting from functional safety aspects this session gives a high level overview of product features of an advanced high voltage Battery Management System in electric vehicles to build a safe, reliable and high performance systems. Special attention is paid to the Thermal Runaway Detection as well as the protection against hazards with power semiconductors.
