Mechanical Design Engineer - Power Electronics, Broad-Ocean Technologies

With a Master of Science in Automotive Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, I am a passionate and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer at Broad-Ocean Technologies, LLC. I lead the mechanical design and engineering activities related to the E-Drive and Power Electronics Division, designing and developing cooling systems, mechanical packaging, and designing fixtures for various power electronic components.
I have 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry, working as a Mechanical Engineer. I have designed, developed, and released battery packs, electric drives, inverters, DC-DC converters for automotive applications. Using standard industrial design principles, I design products for DFM, DFA, which meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. I am proficient in using advanced software tools such as Solidworks, CAD, NX, CATIA, ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, SIMULINK, and LabVIEW.

I have spent 3+ years as a Researcher and my research areas include Automotive Safety Systems, Mechanical and Thermal Design and Blind Spot Detection Systems. I have also contributed to multiple publications and patents in the field of automotive engineering, demonstrating my creativity and problem-solving skills.
